Boy, do I wish I had taped the interview for my first gig because it's hard to remember everything. The one thing I *didn't* appreciate was the fact that the leader of the meeting sent the link to my presentation right before the meeting, instead of in advance of the meeting (I'd sent it to her on, what, Monday night?)

So, they were downloading my presentation as I was talking, not really having a chance to look at it and see if it fits their needs.

Anyhoo...

I think it went well, but I really can't remember much of it. The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for their company will be traveling for the next two weeks and said that they'd get back to me then about their needs and figure out how to put this together contract-wise (or something similar to that... he didn't say contract, but inferred it.) In the meantime, he asked the committee to put together a plan of where the holes are and how I might be able to fill in those holes.

The CISO was apparently looking around in the folder where I kept the presentation and found my resume. He said he pulled that as well so he has my background to look at. He said that he really liked my site. I told him how that name came about (thanks again Dave!)

So, two weeks or so. I guess I'll just keep busy with my new SharePoint subscription. Yep, you read that right. I'm actually renting space on a Microsoft SharePoint server because I missed playing with the technology so much. I am using it to store my compliance and information security education databases, to it's not just playing....

Two weeks.... tick tock......
