Yes Virginia, there really *is* such a thing as too much chocolate
Thursday I went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory with a couple of work buddies. As one would guess, the main draw there is the cheesecake and there was no way I was leaving without a piece.

Since I couldn't even finish half of my lunch, having cheesecake was out of the question. Thankfully, they have the "to-go" option. So, I toted this back to the office with the plan of having it for dinner. Yeah, for dinner. I decided I was going to skip the whole meat and potato's thing and go straight to the dessert.

I wasn't hungry Thursday night, so thought it would make an EXCELLENT lunch on Friday. And it did. For about five minutes.

I wasn't watching the clock or anything, but I'm guessing it was at the six minute mark that suddenly it became too.much.chocolate. I seriously had NO idea there was such a thing, but I stand corrected.

Blerg...

I wanted you to know that your right sidebar covers the text of your posts. It's been doing it for a while. I'm in 1600x1200 so I only miss a few words, but when I bring resolution down to 1024x768 or 800x600, the posts are almost totally obliterated.

I use opera. I'm thinking maybe a little bad css. Just letting you know so you can maybe check it in other browsers. If you write me back, I'll send you screen shots.

In our house we call it

No such thing as too much vanilla. Lots of recipes say add vanilla, well one time we tripled what it said to see if there is a limit

Oh my gawd it was just so awful, we threw it out

Or as the I ching says, even limits need limits

Now if you have any cake left, I can help you out, it is what friends do wink

Just so you know, Donna's not the only one. I'm Mozilla Firefox and it's been doing it for awhile. I have to click your comments in order to view the entire entry, without cutting off the right side.

I don't believe for a second that there is such a thing as too much chocolate. Just take.a.break.

That looks like the poster desert for a triple by-pass..lol!

PS, I have 3 computers, 19inch/and 2 17inch screens and I use FireFox and IE and your page comes up fine everytime...of course I have the latest versions of both.

The sidebar used to overlap on my Firefox, too (I also keep my browsers updated since I use four). I have no room to talk, though, because I'm having trouble correcting a script error on my site that muddles up a couple of things. Kerry over at Webgrits reminded me how forgiving IE is with regard to source code, which tends to make for lazy coders. Firefox and Netscape will demand you do it right.

Your chocolate discussion just gave me an idea for a post, so I'll continue this discussion there later... wink

Too much chocolate?? What language are you speaking? However...if there really is such a condition...next time try their Dulce le Leche cheesecake.

Oh.
My.

I tried to reach you by email, but as I commented, I just get kickbacks. I had hoped that by asking in comments you would get ahold of me, since I know you have my email address.
I guess I'll have to put my request here. Can you remove me from your links? You know that *you* are always welcome to read, but I choose not to open myself up to the board in this way, and several of the ladies miss you, so they've been checking in here for you, and then linking over to me.
I don't want that.
So if you could remove me from your links the first moment you have a chance, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!

I went to CHeesecake Factory here on Friday night and left with 3 "to go" pieces to share with my kids. The Banana Cream Cheescake is to die for, I also had the Dulce De Leche and the Brownie Sundae.....they were ALL incredible. The trick to going to Cheesecake Factory is to go for just dessert!!!!!!!!! I am not much for the chocolate factor, but the rest of their stuff is amazing, as is the food. I love your stuff here, so glad that FTS has you linked to our site!!!

This may be stupid, but my favorite cheesecake is totally at Denny's.
