Warning- the sweetness in these videos could put you into a diabetic coma
We're sure enjoying this little puppy, even though I'm not getting much in the way of sleep. For the first three days, I slept on the love seat with Einstein in his crate on The Hubs's side. It's not too bad, because it's a recliner and I kind of got used to it because it felt better to sleep sitting up than laying down after the face bonk. Einstein has about a 2 hour limit on holding his bladder, so I was up every 2 hours or so to take him to go potty. He goes right back to sleep, so it's not really too much of a chore. However I keep reading that it might be another two months before he's able to hold it through the night. EEEK. Two days ago, I decided to get a really big metal crate that would fit his baby crate, have an area for the wee wee pads, and an area for his toys. I made a mistake that night and thought I could just leave him and go up to bed. I've left him in his crate with the door shut to shower and stuff, so thought he'd be OK. WRONG! That was really traumatic for him for the 15 minutes I held firm. (yeah, he has me wrapped around his little paws too). We went back to his little crate on The Hubs's side of the love seat. Yesterday, I acclimated him to the big crate by putting his food and water, some toys and his little crate in there and left the door open. He went in the big crate willingly the whole day, so I set him up to sleep in the new set up last night and put the big crate close to me so I could verbally comfort him through the night. That went very well. He pottied on his wee wee pads and went back to his little crate to sleep. He needed verbal comfort only a couple of times, so I got more sleep. I think after a couple of days of this he'll be OK on his own at night in the set up. We'll see. But after you see this video, you'll see why I think he's worth every minute of lost sleep! And a little bit more sweetness: RisibleGirl was blabbing on about another adventure on 01/14 at 01:25 PM

Cuteness! My dog does that little puppy jump that he did at the beginning of the 2nd video and she's 5 times the size of Einstein, at least. Some of those puppy traits never go away! Anne    ![]() Miss Ann Thrope wrote:
