Warning! This is going to be a snarky entry!!

I've seen a few commercials for Amy Grant's new show "Three Wishes". From what I gather, this show is about granting wishes to sick kids. That's a really nice idea, and I completely endorse that idea 100%.

What bugs me is that Amy Grant seems to try to appear affectionate with these kids by kissing them, but she never really kisses them. I've seen her kiss a helmet and I've seen her kiss her fingers then put her fingers on a child's cheek. I don't know why that offends me so much, but it does. Kissing a kids helmet? Oh BROTHER. I'll bet they swabbed it with alcohol before she planted her lips on it.

It's almost like she doesn't really want to touch the kids, but would like to appear charitable. That bugs me. I'd rather she not kiss anybody or anyTHING, than watch her do that. It seems so fake. Kind of like Pricilla Presley's cheeks. Fake.Fake.Fake! [ohhhh, that WAS snarky!]

I shall watch one episode of the show and take back everything I wrote here if I'm wrong. But if I'm right? There will be a whole lot of eye rolling and calling my sister to share snarkyness.

And while I'm complaining about commercials, what's with the new Always commercials? Have a happy period? Come on! I don't care if they can make a pad look like a lounge chair. It's NOT a lounge chair and I'll never say happy and period in the same sentence unless the sentence is, "I'm happy THAT's over with."
