This and - full of nightmary goodness at the end
I have lots of minuscule things to write about, so it's time for a this and that. YAY!

  • Yesterday was our 4 year anniversary. I meant to blog about it, I really did. I even put my wedding video on my You Tube account in preparation. After looking at it again, it's very apparent that Heidi and I have lost a truck ton of weight since then. Go look at it if you're interested. It's a brief 7 minutes- exactly what we wanted. Quality over quantity and all that. The person presiding over the wedding couldn't have done a better job. I *LOVE* everything he said and it's so meaningful. He talked to us for about a half an hour before the wedding and I truly believe that his words were meant for us.

  • We're off to visit my parents and brother (Joel) for a couple of days. I'm not sure if I'll have access to Internet- so you may not hear from me until Sunday. I think we're going to see some hieroglyphs on Saturday so hopefully I'll have some awesome pictures.

  • Have you ever had a part 2 of a dream on the following night? I never have before (that I can remember anyway), but last night I had part two of a very convoluted and disturbing dream. Part one consisted of lots of people coming to stay overnight at our place in preparation for a camping trip. They were complete PIGS and SLOBS. They even pooped in the bathtub and left it in a tub full of water. GROSS! (what is wrong with my brain?) This was just one of many things. Oh, and in this dream, I discovered a whole new floor to my home that I didn't realize we had.

Part two consisted of me being the tour guide on a bus full of these people taking them to the camping site. I don't remember ever getting there.

  • Then, a VERY disturbing dream. It would really bug BJ because he's pretty clear about the fact that he doesn't want any pets. In this dream, I was walking in my neighborhood and found four abandoned Great Dane puppies. They were all rail thin and close to death, so I brought them home. This dream went on for quite a while and by the time I was done, I'd adopted something like 30 cats along with these HUGE Great Danes (since I'd taken such good care of them). My house was overrun with animals (hmmm... BJ was nowhere to be found at that point.)

My dream went on to giving the Great Danes away to good homes, and then one day I saw two of them running around a gas station in sweaters (do they even make sweaters in that size?) I was so happy to see them that I cried, and even woke myself up from crying.

  • Lastly, I also had a nightmare last night that my backyard was full of dead animals, and when I looked over the fence I saw hundreds (if not thousands) of decapitated baby pigs, and rats running wild in my back yard. I was freaking out not knowing how I'd ever get rid of all of those dead baby pigs. Wow, huh?

I've been having LOTS of crazy dreams this week. I hope this doesn't mean I need to up the meds again. I have a follow up appointment with my neurologist a week from Monday, so we'll see if things clear up.

Is it significant that you had a dream about "slobs and pigs" in your house then decapitated pigs in the back yard as well?
Actually I had a continuation of a dream several nights in a row, starting with a recap of last night's episode, then getting into the next part. It was like I was directing the dream from my pillow, I even knew it was a dream, and was manipulating part of it. Wierd.
Happy Anniversary.
Gute Reise, be safe, have a great time and come home in one piece and at peace. (that's my form of an Irish blessing, even though I am German ha ha)

Head bonk or not, you've always had some crazy dreams! I've never heard of a dream continuing but that's only cool if it's a good dream. Like, Annie, I was wondering about the association of slobs and pigs and the dead pigs (poor piggies) - is this related to cleanliness?? And lots of animal dreams too.

Right...and I thought I was the one who had the monopoly on seriously nutty dreams (the most recent of which I just blogged about)....but cats, great danes and decapitated piggies take the cake!

(Oh, and you asked on my blog about what I use to help me sleep. It's called "Rescue Remedy - Sleep" and it's a natural spray you put on your tongue when you go to bed. I found it in a health food store, but maybe pharmacies there sell it, too. I'm getting a few hours straight now, which is much better than 90 minutes!)
