That kid of mine…
I know I haven't been around the block in a while. I'll be catching up with y'all on Sunday. I promise! And again, thank you all so very much for the kind thoughts and prayers. I want each of you to know that every email and comment I've received has made a huge impact on me and reminds me of how thankful I am for my little network of friends 'out there'.

The 'boys' are going to be watching a college rival football game with us tomorrow. Usually we have a big party, but this year I actually uninvited everyone except family. I felt kind of bad doing that, but since I can't predict when I'm going to have a panic attack, I decided it was best. I also needed to clean my plate of at least one thing, and this was an easy one.

I was talking to Cameron the other night about the change in plans, and he asked if he and my son-by-proxy James (he's been friends with Cameron since grade school) could come over tonight to spend the night. Apparently Kathy is having a chick flick night with her girlfriends and Cameron said he wanted to be as far away from that as possible. Boys!

Personally, I think Kathy will have the most fun of everyone. Getting the girlfriends together is the best. I need to do that. The last slumber party I had was so much fun. We did crafty things and watched movies, but mainly just talked and shared stories. (PDB, I'm talking about the slumber party that you attended).

Anyhoo.... while I was talking to Cameron, he admitted to me that he's been secretly growing his hair out because he wanted to get it cut into a mullet (along with a big ol' 70's p@rn star mustache) so I'd have memorable Christmas pictures. Alas, his hair is driving him crazy, so he's aborting the mission.

I can NOT stop laughing about the whole idea. I'd like to say that he's a chip off the old block, but in truth, he's a chip off the old block and then some...

1) I'm glad he has reconsidered the mullet!

2) My daughter suffers panic attacks - it's horrible! I'm glad you are limiting your crowd and looking out for you!

He better take a pix before he aborts, just for "personal history" sake.
A slumber party, how fun. I have never done this in my life. I wish I lived closer.

That would've been so funny if Cameron had pulled the mullet off. Hysterical! Well, we can enjoy the thought of it anyway.

What time at your pad tomorrow?
