So, anyway….
I went to an associate of my regular doctor today to see if I could get an answer as to why I'm 'almost' fainting up to six times a day these days. She said that it sounds like I need to get a full work up from a cardiologist, so has referred me to a cardiac clinic. While in her office, she did an EKG (which was fine) and ran some blood tests. She's checking for anemia and potassium levels. A cardiologist, huh? Wow... wouldn't that just beat all. If this ends up being a cardiac problem, I think I will have the full house of specialists at my beck and call. I have a neurologist and a gastroenterologist, so why not throw a cardiologist in the mix? I think the kids better start looking for a good nursing home for me soon. Apparently I've become old. I'll give the cardiologist a call in the a.m. and try to get something set up soon. I'm sure glad I have COBRA insurance. Good grief.
