Playing doctor with a chicken
Oh, I worked and worked on a clever title for this post. That's as good as it gets... Anyhoo- this stuff? ![]() Wow! DEEEEEEEEEEElish! The bearded eye-roller took me with him to the butcher. Usually this is his "special time", but we were already out that way and we needed to pick up a BER could probably spend hours in the butcher shop, ooohing and ahhhing over the cuts of beef, and I get bored quickly so I was looking around for something interesting like a cow tongue or something to torment BER with. I spotted the marinade on the counter and told BER that we just HAD to get this stuff. Not only did it sound like it would taste pretty good, but it meant that I'd get to shoot up a chicken. It came with a syringe and a HUGE needle. ::shiver:: I made the chicken last night and the smells coming from the oven almost drove us crazy. I like really spicy things, but BER doesn't have quite the tolerance that I do, so I was kind of nervous that it might be too spicy. It wasn't. It was just really REALLY good. Plus it was really fun to inject the thighs and watch them swell. It's always fun to watch thighs swell as long as they're not my own. Family? You're in for a treat... I think I might just shoot up a turkey for Thanksgiving. RisibleGirl was blabbing on about another adventure on 11/07 at 08:27 PM

Shooting up a turkey?! That sounds like you're forcing the poor thing to do heroin... poor, poor turkey.    ![]() mongakim wrote:
My sister is into the whole injection thing. I laugh every time I see her doing it, but I have to admit the shit is good.    ![]() Wayabetty wrote:
Oh,that sounds like finger licking good. I always wanted to play doctor anyway. Got to try it out. Thanks for the tip.    ![]() Angela wrote:
Oh, how I do love my Tony's!!! My dad injects everything with the marinade now... there is not a meat in his house safe from his big plastic needle thing. And when I went on my 6 week study abroad trip in Ireland, out of the 30 or so of us attending from LSU, approximately 15 had packed Tony Chachere's of some sort. It was hilarious.    ![]() Regina wrote:
PLEASE send me some of that! I love marinade and the thought of watching it puff while it smells is great! PS...why is my husbands photo on your Celebrity Boyfriend spot!?    ![]() Phyllis wrote:
Something with both creole and butter in the name? I'm so all over it. Oh I forgot. I don't cook anymore. Reckon I'm coming to your house.    ![]() Rev. Qelqoth wrote:
Shooting up turkeys? It's always a fun way to pass the time but try slipping the dirty birds a couple o roofies beforehand - the facial expressions are priceless!    ![]()    ![]()    ![]() wordnerd wrote:
Woo hoo! They make that stuff right down the road from me! Isn't it the best? I shoot everything up!
