One more…
Dear scale, I *LOVE* you, even if you are lying to me. You must be lying to me because I really haven't been THAT great lately. Sure, I've still kept my commitment to be off sugar and lower my carbs (except for the english muffin for breakfast at least 4 days a week for the past 3 weeks), haven't done any purposeful exercise and have NOT kept my commitment about the water, yet... ~*~*~*I'VE LOST 16 LBS SINCE AUGUST 1ST~*~*~* (yes, I'm shouting) I know it's real weight loss because I've weighed the same since Saturday. Woot! Thanks for giving me some good news! ![]() Love, RG I was stuck at 10 for almost a month and then I quit weighing myself because (TMI warning) I now have a mirror in front of the scale and some times that's just too much for my eyes to handle in the morning. Really, who weighs themselves fully clothed, right? Yeah, I could move the mirror and/or the scale, I suppose... I think I can chalk it up to being really good about taking my vitamins and having a protein shake EVERY morning. My body is getting the nutrients it needs, so it's not hanging on to every single bite I eat. That's the only thing I can think of. Stress normally makes me GAIN weight, so I feel fortunate that the stress I'm under isn't affecting me that way. Knock.Wood. Now I'm past ground zero. I weigh less than I did before two surgeries, two head bonkings and 4 drugs that cause weight gain. Only 24 lbs to go and I'll be at my lowest adult weight and a size 5. Seriously, I don't think I'll ever be a size 5 again. It's too much work, but I'll try for it and then take lots of pictures of my hot self if I do make it there. Then I'll eat a sandwich and be the size I was meant to be (8 petite). It's those darned child-birthin' hips that keeps me in the larger sizes. Side-note- I actually had an OB-GYN tell me that I had great hips for birthing children. Too bad it takes more than just wide hips for an easy birth. Just sayin'. (PS- Cameron, have I mentioned lately that you were 26 hours of HARD Pitocen induced labor with no epidural and you in the posterior position the WHOLE TIME no matter how many times the doctor turned you around? No? Well.. here's your reminder. ) Ha- I love to bring that up. He'll never hear the end of it. More if you're logged in and special....and no, it's not about birthing children. Right ON about the weight loss. I'm jealous beyond words. I've been stuck going up and down on the same 5 for the last month or so! So close... and yet, so far. And no workouts! I'm crazy jealous and still won't be a size 5 in this lifetime. Sigh. You're awesome! anne    ![]() Annette wrote:
Congrats on the weightloss! I need to get my rear back in gear and knock off a few...it should be easier now that the weather is more pleasant for exercise.    ![]() Angela Noelle wrote:
