Oh boy!
I hated enchiladas growing up. Still do. It's because of the corn tortillas. YUCK. One night my parents made enchiladas on Lost in Space night. My absolute favorite show growing up was Lost in Space. Boy, did I have a crush on "Major Donald West". Anyway, I could not make those enchiladas go down. I gagged even trying. My parents told me that I couldn't get up from the table until I finished my dinner. I ended up missing my favorite show over stupid enchiladas. That was worse than a spanking to me. We went to Costco yesterday and look what I found! ![]() It is the entire set of Lost in Space! I showed it to BJ and practically begged him if we could buy it. I can't wait to dig in and see that hot hunk of a man, Don. Sigh... ![]() I don't remember what I was doing last night, but BJ actually said to me, "If you don't cut it out then you won't get to watch Lost in Space". He really knows how to put a dagger in my heart. RisibleGirl was blabbing on about another adventure on 08/01 at 04:34 AM

I think we've got a bit of an age difference between me and you... I loved that show, but I was crushing on the little kid. And I think I remember thinking of his as an "older man". *lol*    ![]() tj wrote:
I remember Lost In Space too! For me though it wasn't enchiladas, it was Tamales. GAK!!! In the summertime kids used to come around selling them door to door and my mother always caved.    ![]() FTS wrote:
*gasp!* Enchiladas are a staple of life in Texas. If I couldn't eat them I'd starve. Okay, that was stretching a bit, but corn tortillas? No kidding? Speaking of Lost in Space, did anyone else think when minivans came out with their sloped nose that they resembled the land rover thing the crew drove? Now you've made me crave cheese and onion enchildas buried in hot suace and jalapenos... ---

I've been lurking for a while and I just had to comment. My Dh is a huge Lost in Space fan. I bought him Season 1 for his birthday and he was thrilled. Now, we are up to Season 3 and my 9 and 5 year old daughters are also hooked. Me - I just giggle at Robot the Robot. LOL    ![]() jin wrote:
I hate corn tortillas too. When I used to live in Austin, I would demand that they use flour tortillas. But up here in the pacific northwest, there really isn't good tex mex, but I think they mainly use flour up here.    ![]() Phil wrote:
HAHAHA! You fool. Now your hubby will have ultimate control over you. Well, so long as he keeps the "Lost in Space" discs under lock and key. Corn tortillas for enchaladas? Either I make mine wrong or your folks did. I've always used flour tortillas. Mmmmm, flour tortillas. So, what did you think of the "Lost in Space" movie? Or did you boycott it to preserve the nostalgia. I kinda wish I had done that, except that I liked crushing on Heather Graham and Lacey Chabert. lol    ![]() ComfortAddict wrote:
I actually like corn tortillas (especially if they're warm) but I'm a corn freak in general. As for "Lost in Space," I used to like Dr. Smith's pronouncements. I also had a little thing for Judy (Marta Kristen).    ![]() heidi wrote:
I love enchiladas or anything Mexican!! I don't remember watching Lost in Space though. Sis, if I was around I would've eaten your enchiladas just so you wouldn't miss your show.
