I ended up with a bug bite on my neck whilst working in the garden on Saturday. I felt it when it happened, and it didn’t feel very good but I’m certain that it wasn’t of the poisonous variety because I didn’t get sick. I'd take a picture for you, because I know that everyone likes looking at gross things, but I'll spare you the nastiness.

The bearded eye-roller, sweet and supportive man that he is, said

Thanks honey, way to be supportive. Remember, we women-folk have the ability to retain memories for a loooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg time.

Seriously, that did make me laugh because it's half true. This morning I asked BER if he'd like to kiss my new head goodbye. I got one of these:


I hope it's not so nasty tomorrow, because I think I'd have to cover it with a band-aid to keep people from throwing up when they see me. That'd be so uncool (both ideas- wearing a band-aid and the idea of people throwing up when they see me.)

For you geeky types, I'm SO excited! I bought a NAS drive that I'll be able to access through the internet. I'll be able to store all of our pictures, music and video on the drive and share it with family. Cool, huh?

I also think I found the solution for the virtual wedding party. Heidi and her other half (Sam) were my guinea pigs yesterday, and my first plan bombed. After a couple of hours of research, I think I found the solution. I'll share it with you if it works, because we might be able to host video chats here on my site.

Anyhoo- off to the salt mines. I am still on schedule, thanks for working over the weekend. I *will* get this project done on time. I will! I will! (I hope!)
