Let the weight gain begin!
I've kept myself on a liquid diet for the past few days, just to give my stomach a rest. I've been making some pretty good protein shakes using whey protein. I've had banana chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, root beer float (using vanilla protein mix and root beer sugar free syrup), and cherry vanilla (vanilla mix and cherry sugar free syrup).

Not too bad.

The bearded eye-roller had a hankering for a hamburger today, so I told him to go ahead and pick one up for me while he was out, so I could see how my stomach would fare with solid food.

I only had three bites and I'm done, but so far- so good.

The three days off has done me a world of good. I'm still pretty tired and am sleeping at least 12 hours a day, but I'm not in pain anymore and I don't feel nauseated. Can I get a hallelujah and an amen?

It's been fun to see this weight again, but I have to be a realist and understand that once I start eating real food again- that weight is going to come back on unless I exercise.

I'm REALLY not feeling the love for exercising right now. Maybe I'll just stay off the scale for a while and pretend that the dryer shrunk my clothes.

I am in the opposite boat of you: I am feeling the exercise love. My problem is that my elliptical broke last week and I am waiting for the new motor to be delivered.

I'm still lifting weights 3X a week but no cardio on my beloved elliptical.

I am not feeling the love for exercise yet either, but I am close. My clothes all shrank in the dryer too, so as of . . . oh lets say. . .Thursday, I will begin to run (walk) on the treadmill. And its back to http://www.sparkpeople.com for me
I worry about you, sweetie! Get well. I will remember you in my prayers~
