Leavin’ on a jet plane
However, I *do* know when he's coming back again. That'd be Saturday morning. BJ is on his way to corporate headquarters for their quarterly meeting and (belated) holiday party.

In anticipation of BJ's absence, I have the house stocked with all things stinky:
  1. Vietnamese hot chili garlic sauce (although I'll be remembering to take it easy this time around...)

  2. Bleu Cheese

  3. Greek garlic sauce (with onions, dill and cucumbers) to go on my salmon.

That should do me. I have to ease up on the stinky on Friday to ensure good breath by Saturday, eh?

I also have my TiVo stocked up with reality TV and the much anticipated season premiere of American Idol.

Oh, I'm sure I'll manage to find for weeping and wailing over missing BJ sometime in the three days.

Or maybe not. tongue wink

Don't get me wrong, I love him to pieces and I love spending lots of time with him. I just also happen to love my stinky food and American Idol.

I also like sleeping smack in the middle of the bed. Sideways, even. BJ doesn't like it so much when I do that when he's still in bed. The nerve!

I guess I'd better go put on a sad face and sit on the edge of the bed and watch him pack. (tee hee)

I'm with you- my husband doesn't travel that much, but when he does it's nice to hog the pillows and the middle of the bed.

Sounds like a wonderful few days alone with the stinky food!! That greek garlic sauce sounds like it's to die for... I'm drooling a little!

Also, I just happened to think last night--how on earth did the owner of the house that you love keep up her landscaping with deer frolicking through her yard? Aren't they notorious for eating all plantlife?

Enjoy AI--it looks like it'll be an interesting season!

I wonder if he buys all the faux tears. :p

I've already polished off a bottle of hot chili garlic sauce since Thanksgiving and about to open another. One more round of Thai delivery this week should do it.
