I don't particularly like traveling for business. I got burned out when I was a classroom trainer several years back. It seemed that I was on the road more than I was at home back then and I grew to really hate it. I can handle it in short spurts, but to be gone almost an entire week AND be sick was really a pain in the patoot.

I ended up canceling two of the three dinner plans because I felt so lousy, which made me really sad. I was so looking forward to seeing ALL of my girlfriends, but am really glad that I got to at least see Annie and her husband.

I'm still dealing with the sinus stuff, but it does feel like I'm starting to improve. Finally.

I have the best husband EVER. I know- I say that all the time, but I really do. That sweet man cleaned the entire house before he picked me up from the airport. He said that he wanted me to relax when I got home, rather than worry about when I was going to clean this or that. He knows me so well, doesn't he? Doesn't matter how tired I am- I cannot relax if the house is a mess. He's so thoughtful and sweet to me. ::sigh::

The Hubs brought Einstein with him to the airport and I think that all of my makeup was completely licked off my face by the time we got home. That puppy would NOT quit licking me. He'd settle down and then go back at it again. Normally I don't let him do it, but he was just so happy to see me that I cut him some slack. Little cutie pie.

It sure is nice to be home.
