I think I’m heading into head bonking territory….
I'm being extra careful with myself, because I can feel my stress levels rising. I'm unable to complete sentences, can't find words and, I kid you not- I forgot how to shake hands. Not quite, mind you- just enough to make it really awkward. I couldn't get my thumb right. It was almost like thumb wrestling. With a client. Way to impress, eh? I laughed it off, saying that it was the secret handshake. I laughed off multiple conversation bloopers with clients today, saying that this is why I am an online trainer, rather than classroom. This has been going on for a couple of days. Bleh. Will this ever end? Signed, Crabby RisibleGirl was blabbing on about another adventure on 01/11 at 09:09 PM

I'm so sorry :( I gotta say though, the secret handshake comment gave me a giggle. That's an awesome recovery!    ![]() PrincessFifi wrote:
Geez, haven't you been tested enough? And you've passed every test, too! You should be getting a medal instead of more crap to deal with.    ![]()    ![]() Terri wrote:
So, you know my motherly advice will be to not work so darned hard. I know it goes against everything in your being, but sunshine, your health should be number one!!!!    ![]()    ![]() kalliope72 wrote:
Unfortunately, it goes with the territory, doesn't it? I have made it one of my 'quirks' with my clients. They know I forget the names to things. My elbow? The other day was "you know, that thing...like the heel on your arm..." Yep. Professional. LOL I tell 'em to pay attention to what I'm pointing at if what I say and do doesn't match. Now, sister from another mother...yoga and meditation. Consider the investment in the down time as in investment in your health. Your body and brain will thank you. One day, we will be in the same location and compare notes. Your wonky hand shaking and my putting the boiling kettle in the fridge. Hugs n stuff xo Next entry: Two bits of good news in one day!
