I feel good, na na na na na na nah!
Hoooo boy! The Hubs is quite an entertainer, and I get to be in the audience. Every day.

I bought a fun new toy for the x-box, called Xbox Karaoke. The Hubs never told me that he was karaoke king when we were dating, but I got the info on this 'secret side' from a previous co-worker of his.

A couple of weeks ago he came home from work and said, "Hey, let's go out and do some Karaoke!". My response? " You can't just spring something like that on me! My hair! It's a mess!"

The next day I bought our new toy and it arrived yesterday.

The Hubs set it up and immediately took ownership of the microphone and started entertaining me with songs such as "Love Shack", "Amazing Grace" (that was an accident because he doesn't have a religious bone in his body, but he went along with it), and the finale was James Brown's "I feel good".

I told him that I felt jilted because he wasn't doing the James Brown dance. Instantly he went into his James Brown routine, which made me fall on the floor laughing.

HOLY COW, I was laughing so hard that I got a headache. I sure wish I had a video camera so I could share in the fun.

I can't wait to see what he has planned for an encore tonight!

Oh and I can relate about the hair being a mess thing. C sprang a date night on me last week at the last minute and I was so excited about it that I forgot I hadn't done my hair OR put any makeup on until we got out of the car when we arrived where we were going. I wanted to crawl under a table. Man, I won't be doing that again in a hurry!

i have the three volumes of karaoke revolution on PS2.. i loveit! shawn won't play with me though, he can't sing. he has gotten a coulple of "gold records" on the game by doing a wookie impression of the song. if he tries to actually sing it though - he gets booed off stage. hahahah! er.. i mean, poor guy!!
