I don’t think I’ve mentioned why we’re in NYC
BJ's cousin eloped, and we're here to attend the celebration of their marriage. This doesn't leave a lot of time for sight seeing, but I've sure experienced a lot of neat things in the past couple of days. As y'all know, the sight-seeing thing was a bust due to the weather. So, we're not going to rehash that. Last night we got to go to a sneak peek at an art gallery. I'll be uploading pictures from that adventure after I get home. I'm truly impressed with his work. More about that in the 'private' section- you need to be logged in to read it. After the art gallery, we went to a family dinner. We walked there in the rain and wind and I was wearing my torture shoes. I wanted to 'fit in' with the NY crowd, but I paid a high price for it. Let's just say that the person who invented band-aids for blisters has my vote for a straight shot to heaven. Can I get an amen? AND a hallelujah. Today was the reception and tonight we're going to hear Rench play, starting in ust a few hours. I suspect I'm going to be one tired woman before this day is through- but the experience I'm having is very much worth it. I'm going to wait until I get home to write about it, so I can do it justice. We fly home tomorrow and are hoping for good weather so we can try the tour bus again before we fly out. Oh wait, I think I mentioned that in the last post. Forgive me.... I'm a little overwhelmed with it all. Log in for the rest. RisibleGirl was blabbing on about another adventure on 05/17 at 03:31 PM

Oh my gosh, she must be tiny if she's even more petite than you!!! It sounds like you're having fun, and now you know to pack the shoes you want to wear and walk around town in your flats    ![]() AnnieOfBlueGables wrote:
