A couple of weeks ago, our friend "Woody" sent us an email inviting us to go to the Scottish Highland Games with him and some other friends on the 26th. Just to make sure we knew the importance of this event, he added

"Athletic events, pipers, kilts, giant dogs, dancers, dangerous weapons..... If you're not down with this- you don't have a soul."

Since The Hubs and I both have a soul, I guess we're going.

Actually I LOVE this stuff! I can't wait, and you can be assured that I'll be bringing my Mc Camera with me. I can never pass up an opportunity to photograph people in kilts. Especially the ones that really shouldn't be wearing them.

Hey Anne- are you and M going? I just thought about that! Maybe you could "come wi's" and we could convince our poor temporarily single Angela to come too!

Sadly, The Hubs doesn't have a kilt. I could probably whip one up right quick, but I have a feeling I'd have to drug him heavily to get him to wear it. He does have a tartan tie, though; maybe I can get him to tie it around his head.

Now, the big question. What will I be wearing? I know, right? I really need to put some thought into this.
