Hasta la vista, baby
Well kids, I'm getting down to the wire and I need to start cleaning and packing for the trip.

I may or may not be able to get online after this so if I'm unable to blog while in Oklahoma (have I mentioned that there aren't any WiFi spots there yet? sheesh!), look forward to lots of posts in a row on Saturday the 4th. I'll be bringing my laptop with me and plan to do lots of writing.

Here are the house rules that I always gave to my teens when I'd go out of town for business:

No fires in the house. Always wise since we don't have a fireplace
No fighting
I don't want to see any pay-per-view on my cable bill
I don't want to see 900 numbers on my phone bill
and for the LOVE OF PETE, I do NOT want to see a cop car in my driveway when I get home this time
