Gone fishin’
Hey kids, I just want to let you know that I'm going to be scarce in the blogosphere for a while. Yep, it's work related, and yep I'm probably going to overdo it but it's going to be worth it.

...well, if I survive. If every day is like today, then I'd better take it down a few notches.

My job as I know it is gone...gone...gone. As of today, I'm doing project management work- not my favorite thing by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm willing to do it. I suspect I'll be employed until at least January or February. As long as I get 'option b', it'll be very lucrative for me. Option A is to retain employment after everything is said and done. Option 'b' involves a layoff.

You heard me right- I'm hoping for option b.

Anywhoozit, I'll see you when it's less crazy in my world. Until then, behave yourselves. If you can't behave, then you'd better blog about it. Oh, and take pictures please.

Oh Lori, what a difference a month makes. I'm so very sorry. One of my favorite sayings is- 'How to make God laugh- tell him your plans of the future.' You're flexible, you're resilient. You take the time you need..we'll be here waiting for you. Meanwhile, sending LOTS of positive thoughts and prayers.

Just remember that you need to take time to rest. REMEMBER that you NEED to TAKE TIME TO REST.

Overdoing it is NOT a good thing for Lori.

Work hard. Make it to option B (crossing fingers for you!!)(because if that's what you want, then that's what I want!) but in the meanwhile, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!

Pleeease?

It's odd to write, but yeah, here's to being laid off grin But like Anonymous G said - with an added threatening tone from me (you're welcome): don't you dare over do it.

I'd hate to have to come over there and beat you.

Sorry about the job situation Lori. I've been watching from the sidelines and I can understand the amount of stress that you're dealing with. Here's to option B! *clink*

M'kaaaaaay...we'll get by. You, on the other hand, need to take care of yourself and not overdo it.

Never thought I'd say this, but here's hoping you get laid off!

I agree with AG...don't overdo it! But I also agree with her that if option b is what you want then I hope that's what you get. You do always land on your feet (can I start calling you kitty?) so no matter where this next road takes you you'll find a way to make it all work in a positive way. Mwah!
