Forgiveness is such a hard thing to do, especially when you feel like the innocent victim (speaking from past experiences with FIL) But my husband and I took 8 years to get past an anger and wrong before we felt like we could be in the same room. It was all okay by the time he got ill and eventually died. The last time I saw him alive, I gave him a huge hug and he said through tears that he was going to be our guardian angel when he left this world. I truly think he is. I am so glad it was settled before he left. God Bless, sweet Lori. I wish you and her the best.
