Did I ever tell you about the time…..
As mentioned in the previous post, the bearded eye-roller got new glasses yesterday. Well, ordered them, anyway. He was telling me about his eye appointment and how his eye doctor said that he had 'clinically boring eyes' (IOW, nothing exciting to see here- move along you bunch of Lookie Lous). That reminded me of an eye exam I had when I was about 16 at the local optometry school. The exam was right after the lunch hour (yes, this is probably important to the story....) and we lived in Southern CA at the time (also probably important to the story, dontchaknow...). Being that this was an optometry college, I was examined by a student. He looked in my eyes with some sort of hand-held device and said something to the effect of, "Woah... I can see right into your brain", and then went to go get some more students to look into my 'brain'. Did I mention that his breath smelled of the 'wacky tabacky'? Yeah- it did. Probably explaining why he was so fascinated with 'looking right into my brain'. The other students also were able to see right into my brain, and also smelled of the wacky tabacky. It was the most bizarre experience I'd ever had. Of course, I left there thinking I had some strange abnormality in my eyes, since they were so fascinated by me. Come to find out, my eyes are 'clinically boring' too. Except when you've been smoking the funny stuff on your lunch break.....
