Deep thoughts
Another poem addressed in the book "ten poems to change your life" The Revolution I've never believed that organized religion is for everyone, although I do believe it is for many. To drill down even further, I believe that all religions (well, except the wacky ones) have a certain amount of truth and each, though different from each other, are the 'true' religion for some individuals. I believe that this poem is saying, there is no one particular place you'll find God (or whatever you call your light), because God is everywhere. It's all about finding your light. Call it God, call it the Universe, or even the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It's my belief that this light is the same thing to different people even though it's called different names. Heidi and Sam have been on a raw food journey and Sam has posted some wonderful posts about how the raw food journey has helped him to find his light. I think that's awesome. I'm just as excited for someone who has found a religion that fits them like a glove or has found freedom through a 12-step program. I know where I find my light, and that is in solitude and quiet. I am in the next seat: Everyone needs to find their own way to open their eyes to that light in the next seat. The first step is simply the desire to see. I've always been curious about people who don't feel that desire to see. I don't judge it; I just don't understand it. It seems to me that life would feel empty and meaningless. Where do you find your light? RisibleGirl was blabbing on about another adventure on 07/24 at 08:25 PM

Great post and thank you!! Your poem reminds me of the scripture, 1 Cor. 3: 16 "16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" Makes ya wonder doesn't it? Raw food has certainly helped me a lot when it comes to healing physical complaints, reversing age and becoming clear. I must give credit where credit is due and that lies soley on the Savior, who answered my prayer and led me on this path. Although I don't talk about it directly to people when making videos etc, still in this post I think it's relevant. We live in an age where it is beyond passe to believe in God, let alone a religion. Yet I have found that God calls Prophets in all religions to help those who are able to hear what they are able to hear. And I do believe that he has a true church, if only the people in it could figure out how to break free of the mental conditioning and really use their gift. Take care, Sam    ![]() AnnieOfBlueGables wrote:

Whew! These are deep thoughts today; not sure I can handle it! The thing is I agree with everyone b/c I feel if what you believe in brings you happiness and light then great. I just wish everyone was respectful of each other's beliefs. Guess what my verification word is? DEEP Whoa. Next entry: Why does this always make me laugh? Previous entry: I can't wait!
