Dear rude lady on the train,
I was, frankly, shocked when you motioned to me that you wanted to sit in the seat next to me. It was pretty clear that I was on a conference call and had all of the paperwork I needed spread all around in that seat. While I have always believed that it's rude to make seats unavailable for other riders, I chose a car that always has lots of extra seats. I also chose a seat that faces a wall (mainly so there wouldn't be people sitting across from me listening to my conference call.) I hope it didn't appear too obvious when I looked around after your request, but I suppose if you'd of looked around, you'd of seen all of the available seats that I saw. I think the thing that shocked me the most is that it was OBVIOUS that I was leading the discussion of the conference call, yet you decided to get on your cell phone and make LOUD personal calls as you sat right next to me. When you couldn't reach one person- you'd call another. What was THAT about? The minute my conference call ended, so did your personal calls and you decided to go to sleep. Now, I'm not a violent person, but at that point I wanted to punch you in the throat. Thank you, and have a nice day. Sincerely, RisibleGirl- who only lead a conference call on the train because of necessity....not because she wanted to. RisibleGirl was blabbing on about another adventure on 03/24 at 05:27 AM

It's like the commercial where the nice sports car is sitting in an empty parking lot and this piece of crap car comes flying in with smoke pouring from the hood and parks RIGHT next to it. People like that piss me off *shakes head*    ![]() Joel wrote:
I'm never sure if people like that are just totally oblivious or mean spirited...either way, it's maddening. I think the oblivious ones actually piss me off more...being unaware of one's surroundings is a pet peeve.    ![]() Frances wrote:

You're such a polite southern (read good) girl. I would not have moved anything to let her sit & instead would have responded with my 'patented' combined snort/sneer/eye roll. Because I'm really mean that way. Next entry: My yard is SO MUCH FUN! Previous entry: GAH!!! Too.Many.Numbers to memorize! In case you're wondering....
