Check!
Check list to go visit 'new' family: Airline tickets purchased? Check! Hotel reservations made? Check! Car rental reservations? Check! Son who looks identical to my b-father? CHECK! CHECK! CHECK! CHECK! (breaking one of my rules of not posting personal pics- but this is just WAY too freaky!) ![]() Until now, I've only had pics of the wedding between my b-father and my mother. I had NO idea how much my son looked like him. And no, this is not a pose- it's a picture my son's girlfriend already had. Oh, and my son has very curly hair too. Hard to tell because of how spikey he wears it. (where's that twilight zone music?) RisibleGirl was blabbing on about another adventure on 08/04 at 04:36 PM

That is absolutely amazing! It's the sort of thing I only thought I'd see in movies. Enjoy visiting your family!    ![]() E wrote:
Ok, that's pretty freaky. Two of my eldest sisters have the same dad. As far as I know, he bailed when they were really young. About 10 years ago they contacted him and he sent a photo...sitting in the exact same way, with the same expression, as photos of my middle sister. That's weird. This is just way cool watching all of this unfold for you. By the way, how are your kiddos handling it? How's hubby doing? ps...get that twilight zone music out...my secret word is 'son'.    ![]()    ![]() Joker wrote:

Oh, wow. Wow. Your b-dad? Look at him. I LOVE the smile. Ear to ear, and full of quick wit. What's not to love? Again, in case I forgot...wow.    ![]() Anonymous G wrote:

Yikes....wow....the pics look totally posed and could be of the same person just at different stages of life. He really is the spitting image of his grandfather.    ![]() grrltraveler wrote:
I'm back and now you're gone! I hope you are enjoying yourself with your new family! That is a wonderful likeness between your son (cutie) and your b-dad (pretty darn handsome himself)! And I see your dad in you as well... Have fun, sweetie! a    ![]()    ![]() k1 wrote:
