And yet ANOTHER trip to the ER!

I woke up this morning feeling blah, which was par for thourse these days, but had some tingling in the bottom of my feet. I thought about it for more than a minute and moved on to starting my pile of projects.

Sometime around 11, I noticed my vision going double adn my hands were really tingly. The tingle went all up to my elbows.

I called my doctor who, again, told me to go to the ER.

By the time I got there, the tingling turned into mild shaking, and then violent shaking. It scared the hell out of me because I had no control over my body. Apparently I was having seizures for over 2 hours, and poor BER sat by my side and held my hand no matter what grip I was giving him.

It was really scary, you guys. Really scary.

By the time the doctor gave me something in my IV, I was drenched with sweat and crying my eyes out. I probably freaked out my poor husband. He really didn’t sign up for this, yaknow?

The drugs did the trick, kept me from seizing and kept me calm. Right before we left, I started up again, so they gave me another round.

I’m dadgum tired everyone. My clothes were wet through and trough from the non-stop seizures, so that was quite a workout.

I’m now home with new anti-seizure meds and a referral for a neurologist. Hopefully, I can set this up for tomorrow.

The real drag? I am no unallowed to drive a car until Ive been seizure free for six months.

Buzz kill..., but it’s one that I understand.

Just wondering.... will this EVER end?
