And then….
I made it to the train without any weird events. The train ride itself was even perfectly normal. It wasn't until I left the grocery store that my day continued its weird path. I was loading my groceries into the back of the SUV I heard someone's car alarm go off. It was really annoying and LOUD. Annoying until I figured out that that car alarm was coming from MY vehicle. I tried pushing the unlock button on my key fob to try to make it stop already, but no dice. I FINALLY figured out that hitting the alarm button on the fob turned it off. (Der...) It was a long day and I was WIPED out as I pulled into my green little neighborhood. I was looking forward to kicking off those 3 inch heels and taking off: 1. The necklace that was strangling me all day 2. The other necklace that kept getting caught in my hair and pulling it 3. Everything else But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The maids were still at the house at 6:10 PM! I refuse to come into the house when the maids are here because I just don't want to watch other people clean my house. It makes me feel weird. Besides, I'd be afraid I'd be telling them to quit putting my stuff away in weird places. So I parked down the street and waited. And waited... And waited a full 25 minutes before they pulled out of my driveway. Neighbors were driving by looking at me, probably wondering if I was staking out someone's house. I was in fear that I'd get a knock on the window asking me what the heck I was doing. Thankfully, that didn't happen. I walked in the door, kissed my furry faced husband, put the groceries away and then headed for a nice loooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg hot shower. It was lovely. The day is over, I think all the weird stuff is done. No wait- let's use positive thinking here... I KNOW it's done. At least I got to have lunch with my sis. That was the bright spot in my day. Thanks sis! RisibleGirl was blabbing on about another adventure on 09/04 at 08:37 PM

Hey! You're welcome! It's always a treat for me too. And how weird the cleaning peeps were there so late. I'd feel weird too coming home to that. It's funny to imagine you camping out in your car for awhile though. Maybe tomorrow will be a boring day for you?    ![]()    ![]() Annette wrote:
I know it feels weird to watch the maids, but dang! Go in, kick 'em out of your bathroom and relax next time!    ![]() Alison wrote:
I don't think you are the only one who doesn't like to watch people clean your house...But I have to say it is quite funny that you parked down the street to wait for them to leave!
