All stocked up
The bearded eye-roller left today for a golf tournament and won't be back until Monday afternoon. Then on Tuesday, he leaves for a business meeting and will be gone until late Thursday night.

You know what THAT means!


I stocked up with all my favorite goodies on the way home from work yesterday. If it gives you stinky breath, I've got it!

In other news...
  • I'm having a slumber party with two of my favorite gal pals on Saturday. We've had this planned for at least a month and I've been counting the days. You can tell that we're getting old because the thing we're all excited about is sitting on the back porch and looking at the birds. Hooooo-boy, we know how to have a good time! Of course, there will be lots of movie watching when it's too dark to watch the birds and squirrels.

  • I've given up on doing the river rock myself. I am getting a bid for the rest of it tomorrow. I've put down about 50 bags (50- 30lb bags, need I remind you?) and it's about half done. I called my yard service guy and talked to him about it. He laughed and said that buying it by the bag was probably the most expensive way it could be done. Oh well..

  • I rode the quiet car yesterday, but no QCN. Of course, that could be because I missed the first two trains due to trying to get a project done before leaving work. I ended up sitting across from a lady who snored really loud. It had me wondering, why it was ok to snore REALLY loud (seriously LOUD) for an hour, with no repercussions. I believe this will require more study. Perhaps I should look into getting a grant.
