OK- I know people have better things to do than sit and think about what I'm doing at any given minute, but humor me.

Ready?

I'm vacuuming my house. Yup, vacuuming while I sit in my big chair catching up on blogs and having a cuppa joe. Amazing, huh?

Thanks to Zube Girl and Miss Ann Thrope, I've joined the ranks of Roomba owners. Their stories of the Roomba vs. the cats almost makes me want to get a cat.

Almost...

I *LOVE* it! I love it so much that I don't even mind that I paid for it out of my own allowance- something normally reserved for hair and clothes. Seems that most people are naming theirs, so I've named mine "Little Buddy".

My little buddy does a bang up job of cleaning the floors. Since it's only about three inches high, it goes under most of my furniture. No dust bunnies! It also has little brushes on the sides that get right up to the edge between the floor and wall to brush out anything in the corners and then vacuums it up.

When it runs out of power, it takes itself back to the docking station to recharge.

Although I have a fabulous floor cleaner, I'm seriously considering getting my little buddy a sibling; the Scooba. I'd then have two little robots to do the two things I hate doing the most- vacuuming and mopping. And I dare say, a better job of it.

Amazing....

That'll have to wait though, because I have a foil in my near future.

I do have my priorities, you know.
