A very strange day
It started out OK up until the time I got off the train. In order of events (going up until lunch- who knows what's on the plate for after work..)

  1. The strap came unhooked from my laptop case and I dropped the whole thing in the middle of the rush from the trains to the bus. It actually hit someone.


  2. I got on the train in the bus tunnel. There are three stops between where I board and where I get off the bus. At the first stop the bus driver announces, "Everyone needs to get off the bus and exit the bus tunnel, there's a fire. We all sat there like a bunch of idiots because this has never happened (well, to me anyway). Eventually the bus driver convinced us to get off the bus and the whole tunnel had flashing lights and sirens and smelled of smoke. I hoofed it out of there in a hurry and never could catch a bus at the right time, so walked about 10 blocks in my 3 inch heels and 10 lbs of stuff between my purse and laptop case.


  3. I was in a meeting with my boss, Top Dog, and his boss (and 6 other assorted peers) being thoroughly annoyed by my chair. It was leaning WAY back and I wasn't about to put up with THAT for 1.5 hours. So, I tried to adjust the chair. I ended up breaking the handle off (I can be rather forceful, you know) making a huge scene. Neat!


  4. I decided to have lunch with my sis about 5 blocks away. A very dirty stinky person walked next to me the entire time blabbing about circles fitting in circles. I think my blouse intrigued him (polka dot)


  5. Right before entering the building where I was to have lunch, another homeless person walked past me. It appeared that he was using a paper towel as a cellphone. He had it folded up and was talking into it and I think he truly heard voices coming from that paper towel.


That's it for now. I'm excited to see what awaits me the rest of the day, aren't you?

How could that many things all happen in one day?
