I just got back from the gastro's office. He said that my liver still feels inflamed, so he drew blood and has scheduled me for an ultrasound on 03/17. I'm not feeling nauseated or am in any pain- so that kind of surprised me.

My blood was pressure was 100/50. It has never been this low (well, in the dr's office). I'm almost always 120/80- because I strive for perfection. No wonder I feel 'fainty' (no worries- I'm being VERY VERY careful and have been doing a lot of sitting on the floor lately).

I asked the doctor what the connection was between liver flare-ups and cold sores. He said that there is none that he knows of. I said that I've been having documented flareups since 1986 and I've never had one without getting cold sores. You can't tell me that they're not related somehow. You just can't.

...but he did.

Oh- my GP called me back and said no more antibiotics for me. She said that at this point it's probably viral and to suck it up. OK- I made up the last part.

I called my boss and left her a voice message asking her if I could work from home again this week. I said I wouldn't do it if it would appear to be a bad career move. She wrote me an email in big capital letters- WORK FROM HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so thankful for this benefit, and I told her so. I literally cried from relief. Just going to the doctor left me exhausted and a big ol' sweaty mess. (pretty picture, eh?) I can't imagine what a 2 hour commute and 8 hours working would do. Thankfully, I don't need to worry about it.

Sorry I haven't been blog hopping. I've been sleeping 12-14 hours at night and taking naps during the day (oh, and working). The bearded eye-roller hasn't had much interaction with me either, poor guy. Hopefully I'll be around this weekend. And by around, I don't mean "not yet at the glue factory". tee hee.
