Apparently changing hosts is like ummm... hummm... Oh I got it. The long 27 hour labor I had with son number 1. That's hard labor, thank you very much. Pitocen from the start (for those of you in the know....) and no drugs. That, my friends, was NO fun.

Yep, that's what this changing hosts is like. Ok, I'm being a drama queen. Forget I said all that. But I am more than slightly annoyed. My new host is saying that my old host is denying the transfer. Whaaaaat? Isn't that up to me? The old host says it takes five days and to please be patient. Apparently they don't know me very well.

So, I wait. I don't want to flip to Movable Type until I change hosts. That way it'll be like a fresh start, eh?

My posts are getting REAL boring! No worries, I'll be back to my 'charming' self soon. That's assuming I was charming in the first place. heh.

I've decided to change platforms as well as hosts at the same time. Ummmm, I checked the wrong freaking button when switching hosts. I registered my domain at domains by proxy so people couldn't track me down and find me. You know, the paparazzi can be such a buzz kill.

Anyway, it's gonna be a couple of days, so I'll resurrect this for as long as this site is up and running. Gah...

I had to resurrect, because I just saw something on the news about the British being all up in arms about a musical, "Jerry Springer, the musical". They showed a few scenes and it had me on the floor. What a riot! People singing insane things, while wearing big adult diapers.

You just can't pay for that kind of entertainment. OH wait... I guess you can.

Last night we were watching "Troy" with Brad Pitt. Sometimes I think Brad looks like he could use a shower, but that wasn't the case in this movie. No-sir-ee Bob.

There was one scene where he was particularly fetching, so I turned to BJ and asked, "would it be inappropriate if I said 'hubba hubba' right now?"

I got the 'you're being inappropriate' eyeroll. No words were necessary.

Well, at least I asked.....

My new GPS navigation device arrived on the doorstep on Wednesday. It's about the coolest thing I've ever EVER owned. Trust me, I've owned a lot of cool stuff because I'm the ultimate gadget geek.

BJ came home and we had about a half an hour to kill before dinner was done. Wanna know how we spent those 30 minutes? We took the navigation device out for a spin. Yup. We had it look up the restaurants in the vicinity and tell us how to get there. I kept flipping it back and forth between the male voice and the female voice to see which one I liked better. Turns out I like women... who knew?

I'm sure you're thinking that's about as much excitement as one could stand, but it gets better. Sometimes just to mix things up, we would go the OPPOSITE direction of what the voice told us just to see what it would do. Yeah, we're wild like that. When it re-routed us, we'd both look at each other and laugh. Well, I giggled and he laughed.

So now you know. This, my friends, is how dorks have fun.

I just ordered the new Donny Osmond CD, due for release on 1/11. Geez, pre-release order, even. There, I've said it. If that's not enought to scare people away, I don't know what is. Would it help if I said I liked... oh shoot, what's a cool band... oh yeah, Barry Manilow? JUST KIDDING. I wouldn't even go that low.

I've had a crush on Donny Osmond from the time I can remember, until the time it was no longer cool. OK, I lied. I had a crush on him even longer than that, but never admitted it. FTS admitted having a crush on Marie at one time, so it's time I fess up too.

I remember when I was very young, my cousin and I used to prank call all of the Osmonds in the phone book, hoping that we'd get his house. Ummmm, yeah, listen, we were only 9 or 10. Don't pass judgment. I'm sure you did really dumb things at that age too.

So, here's the deal.... don't tell BJ, OK? I'm going to play it when we're driving around in the car and not tell him who it is until after he says he likes it. Yeah... that's what I'm gonna do. I can't wait to see the look on his face.

..thank goodness there isn't an ejector seat in the car.
