Thursday, October 14, 2004It’s the week of nightmares
Something must really be bothering me. I haven't quite figured out what yet, most likely due to my ability to put things away in little boxes until I'm ready to deal with them. I've been impatient at work, I've been weepy at home, and I've been having nightmares every night. Until I get to the bottom of what is bothering me, I can only expect more of the same. First night: (more funny than nightmarish, I suppose...) We're presently considering buying a house. I had a dream/nightmare the other night that the loan processor called me and said that they had to lower the loan amount that we were trying to qualify for because they found out that we were having twins. They went on to draft a whole list of all of the costs involved in having twins, even down to the furnature. Second night: The flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz were taking away all my friends and family. I was fighting them off as best as I could, but they still got the people I cared about and flew off with them. Third nightmare: I was in a park and someone kept yelling at me. I hauled off and beat them up and threw them as far as I could. They ended up being thrown against a brick wall (yards and yards away) and laid there unconscious. Nightmarish for me because I was horrified that I could do such a thing. I run away from conflict every chance I get. I'd never inflict violence on anyone; no matter what. Fourth nightmare: A person living on the streets kept following me and asking me for money. I wouldn't give it to him. Everyone found out about it and ostracized me. Is it any wonder that I'm avoiding going to sleep lately? RisibleGirl was blabbing on about her adventures again on 10/14 at 08:10 PM

Monday, September 20, 2004Maybe counseling is in order, ma’am
I had a dream last night that someone from work was getting married and wanted me to tell a story at their wedding. She wanted me to illustrate it and show the pictures as I was telling the story. I drew some really beautiful pictures (but don't remember what the story was.) The day of the wedding, I couldn't find the pictures anywhere. I looked everywhere, but couldn't find them. I asked everyone I knew if they knew where the pictures were. Nobody knew. My mother said that she had a great story book that I could use, so I told her to bring it to the place where the wedding was going to take place. She brought the story book to the wedding hall and when I went to take it from her, she said that I couldn't have it. That she was going to tell the story. I reminded her that the bride didn't even know her and that the bride had asked me to do it. Mom didn't care. She also made sure (I really don't know how she got this power to do this in my dream) that I sat really far away so I wouldn't interrupt her. I got pissed and walked out.
